Pink Lady Apple Sauce with Cardamom and Cinnamon
This simple Pink Lady Applesauce calls for 5 ingredients and is ready in less than 30 minutes. Homemade tastes so much better than store-bought!
Wooo apple sauce!
What?
You aren’t excited about apple sauce?
Well I guess if you’ve only had the jarred kind why would you be?
The jarred stuff isn’t very exciting, and sort of tastes like baby food. But homemade applesauce is SO much better than store bought apple sauce (no surprises there, right?) and is pretty delicious stuff. AND it’s unbelievably easy to make.
(If you prefer to make this recipe in the crockpot instead of on the stove, see my Crockpot Applesauce recipe).
I used Pink Lady apples because I love their flavor. They are sort of tart and sweet at the same time, but you can use whatever apple you like.

Do you keep the remaining H20 and mash all together or drain off excess H20? I made 5X the recipe for canning. I am hoping that the H20 Evaporates some.
