Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Hot Dogs – I prefer using all beef hot dogs
  • Bacon – Thin Cut is best here. It crisps up better than thicker cut bacon
  • Hot Dog Buns – Holds everything together
  • Toppings optional – Ketchup, Mustard, Relish, Chopped Onions, Jalapeno’s, Shredded Cheese,
    BBQ Sauce

How to Make Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs on the Grill

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat (we dont want full heat here, we want to limit flare ups from the bacon)
  2. Wrap each hot dog tightly with once slice of bacon, securing the ends with toothpicks (cut off extra bacon, and soak wooden toothpicks in water before grilling to prevent burning)

Topping Ideas

This is where the cookout pros thrive! A dressed up hot dog is a good hot dog. We are already leveled up with the bacon but we can still do better! Cowboy Dog: BBQ Sauce, Onion, & Jalapeno.
Cheese Dog: Nacho Cheese Sauce. OG Dog: Ketchup, Mustard, & Relish. My Favorite: Ketchup & Onions
