Slow Cooker Chicken and Gravy Recipe

Instructions
Place the chicken in the bottom of theslow cooker.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, gravy packets, chicken broth, and black pepper until smooth.
Pour the mixture evenly over the chicken, coating it completely.
Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shredded. Internal temp is 165*F
If desired, stir in sour cream or heavycream during the last 15 minutes of cooking for a richer, creamier gravy.
Shred or slice the chicken and stir it back into the gravy. Let it sit a few minutes to absorb the flavor.
Serve warm over mashed potatoes, rice, noodles, or biscuits and sprinkle with parsley
