Taco Seasoning

This Homemade Taco Seasoning is easy to mix together with staples from the pantry, and is free of anti-caking agents and additives. It's perfect for quick ground beef tacos!

  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1.5 tsp paprika
  • .5 tsp garlic powder
  • .5 tsp dried oregano
  • .25 tsp onion powder
  • .25 tsp ground coriander
  • .25 tsp cayenne pepper


  • In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients to combine.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature. The spices will keep well for at least 6 months.


This makes about 4 tbsp, and I typically use 2 tbsp of taco seasoning for every pound of ground beef. Feel free to scale the recipe to make a larger batch. There is a slider in the recipe box where you can adjust the servings and it will automatically scale the amounts for you.
