This simple Chicken Fajita Seasoning has a nice balance of herb and spice that's perfect for Chicken Fajitas.
Ingredients
2tbspchili powder
1tbsppaprika(try smoked paprika if you have it)
1tbspground cumin
1.5tspgarlic powder
1.5tspdried oregano
.75tsponion powder
.75tspcayenne pepper
Instructions
Mix all ingredients together, until combined.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature until ready to use.
Notes
This is a triple batch of fajita seasoning. In order to make one batch of my Chicken Fajitas that uses 2-3 lbs of chicken meat + 3 bell peppers + 2 onions, you only need 2 tbsp, which is about 1/3 of this mix. If you desire to make just enough for one batch of fajitas, click on the serving size "3" in the recipe box and change the serving size to "1" and it will automatically adjust the amounts for you.Storage: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 year.
