Life Lately & Links 4

Happy Friday, and greetings from Salt Lake City!

I’m in town to speak at a conference, and OH MY WORD I cannot get over how incredible the scenery is here. I went on a brief hike, and basically had to stop every two seconds to take in the views. I couldn’t believe it was real.

I haven’t actually been downtown yet (I’m 30 minutes north of the city for the conference), but Pete and James are flying in tonight, then we’ll spend several days here exploring the sites. Pete and James have also never been to Salt Lake, and we’re really excited to check it out. I’ve got a good list of food places on my list to try (naturally that’s the first thing that gets planned), and I know we’ll have plenty of cool stuff to see. If you’ve been to the area and have any musts, I’m all ears!

What are your plans for the weekend?

Salt Lake City Adams Waterfall Hike

This Week’s Links:

It certainly does sound weird, but I’ll try it.

I might make myself do this. My kitchen drawers are overstuffed.

I generally don’t follow celebrity news, but looking at Met Gala outfits is an exception, and SO fun.

Gloves are my best friend and I don’t do dishes without them.

I’m guilty of using the wrong one when I’m in a pinch.

Wow. Incredible photographs/our world is amazing.

Thinking of making this my birthday cake this year.

Pan-seared Pork Chops for breakfast have been making more an appearance lately.

Have a great weekend,

Joanne
